How to perform simple fronton modeling in sketchup after importing the cad file

Egypt Sketchup Community presents a useful sketchup video that describes the detailed process for performing simple fronton modeling with the use of sketchup. The elevation drawing is done with AutoCad 2017 and it is imported to sketchup pro 2017 by going to file  Import option.

Prior to import a CAD file into SketchUp Pro, it’s essential to have clear idea on what CAD elements SketchUp Pro can and can’t import. After that, it becomes easier to prepare your CAD file and work with the elements that should be required in SketchUp Pro.

If you don’t require to lose details in the original CAD file, just produce a copy of the CAD file and get that copy ready for importing into SketchUp Pro.
