Luxion, the noted software developer in 3D rendering, lighting and animation field, just declared the availability of KeyShot 5.2. This newest version of KeyShot is already recognized by several Fortune 1000 companies like Chrysler, Fossil, Microsoft, Motorola, Procter & Gamble, Skullcandy, IDEO and SMART Design.
KeyShot 5.2 includes some advanced features like optimizations to motion blur, color precision, focused caustics and visibility of emissive material. The speed, performance and 3d file format support are also significantly improved.
The most crucial advancement is the support for SolidWorks 2015 file formats on Mac and Microsoft Windows platform via the updated Keyshot plugin for SolidWorks. The users can access the plugin at free of cost and download it directly from KeyShot Website. With this plugin, the users can import SolidWorks 2015 files through LiveLinking into KeyShot.
With the introduction of each new release, the existing LiveLinking technology (that links the 3D modeling application with KeyShot) is reorganized by Luxion. If any user revises the design in their 3d modeling application, the updates can be forwarded to KeyShot. Only the modified elements and layers are transmitted to Keyshot keeping the material, animation or lighting same as in the model.
LiveLinking Technology supports Autodesk Fusion 360/IronCAD/PTC Creo & Pro/ENGINEER/Rhinoceros/Siemens/Solid Edge/solidThinking Evolve/Dassault Systemes SolidWorks/Pixologic ZBrush.
The existing subscribers of KeyShot can upgrade to KeyShot 5.2 at free of cost.
